Rick and Ray are right: like it or not, health care is subject to the
political process.  If George Bush were doing his job--i.e., working in the
best interests of people with Parkinson's and other disabling diseases--the
bashing could stop.  But, it's clear his priorities are elsewhere--a
senseless war that is costing thousands of lives and billions of dollars and
runaway spending that will put our children and grandchildren in hock for a
long, long time.

This is not the time to sit back and accept policies and practices that are
harmful to members of the Parkinson's community and to all Americans.
