Just recently ( a couple of days ago) I rejoined and I'm very pleased to get
news of those that I
had lost touch. It was wonderful that Linda Herman will be receiving the
Fishman award, as her contributions for advocacy have been tremendous. My
only regret is that I will not be able to attend the Forum------and I miss
the many wonderful people that I have met.

Was also pleased to see Art Hirsch's postings, but sorry about Barbara
Mulllet.

Last year I certainly learned that PD is a progressive disease--was over
medicated, hematoma, hospitalized, 3 pints of blood, etc. Next week I see a
neurologist at Mayo's in Scottsdale about the possibility of a DBS. Perhaps
someone on the list is familiar or had DBS surgery there. If so, would like
any info . This could be done directly to me.

Have lost e-mail addresses, so would love to hear from those I've lost touch
with.(off line)

Lorraine Jeffe
