THANK YOU Barbara and John,

For maintaining the Parkinsn list and for all the neat new PIENO features
and for resurrecting the archives.
And congratulations on receiving the Alan Bonander Award. You both highly
deserve this honor along with our heartfelt thanks.

For newer list members - Alan was one of the original members of  PIEN
and a pioneer in utilizing the Internet for advocacy .He freely shared
his knowledge about the disease and advice about living with it through
his postings and through many personal emails to list members. Alan was
loved and respected by everyone whose life he touched - whether in person
or in cyberspace.  He  died from complications of asthma in 1996.

 It is so fitting that Barbara and John  receive this award in memory of
Alan Bonander.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year to all, and may 2005 bring us closer to
the cure,
