Re: A pray from Hungary
Dear Olga-- thank you for the beautiful thoughts expressed in your poem, and for your prayers--we need them for sure. And your English is very good !
As you know, English is not my mother tongue, nevertheless, I tried to write a pray, a poem
TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
I've never thought it would happen I've never thought it could come so sudden
I hear awake and in my dreams crying of people and feel their fears I hear their voice aand see their tears
My Lord! turn your face to this hurt place give the people hope and peace
Give them peace in their hearts Promise us it would not happen ever Let us calm and let us trust: trust in people and trust in You, forever.
Help us to believe that mankind is good Help the people to live in good mood No matter of how rich or how poor - People are born to be cheritable, I'm sure.
I cry for you I pray for you I cry for us I pray for us
God save us!
Olga Maria
