Re: Non PD: To or From God?
Ken, I agree. but I'm probably the only person. I'd like to think this all will make sense somehow, but it does not yet, not to me. I hope I'm entitled to my opinion. Maybe Allah has been answering most of the prayers. The terrorists pray what is it 5 times a day? And we know they are willing to die for their religious beliefs. I'm not defending them, but after teaching about wars for years, I'm very weary of appeals to God who has always been on somebody's side. Maybe taking a look at the causes might help since "God" as most believe has left it to our free will. Now everyone can condemn me, but I do believe in God, but his/hers/its answer has been "no". I haven't seen Jesus, either. How dare I say that? I guess we still have free speech, but no agreement. I'm not against praying, I do it, but people might remember . . .these horrors have gone on all through man's history. Ken, you are not alone in your questioning. My minor was philosophy and I'm interested in comparative religion, history my major. I just don't have the faith that does so much for so many people.
