Hello all list members!

I was quite comfortable with the Oxidative Stress Hypothesis as the most
popular model to explain PD pathogenesis and progression. But now with last
week's announcement about alpha synuclein I am quite lost. Does anyone have any
thoughts about how the two might be linked (ie. the idea of how alpha synclein
might clump lead to free radical formation via GSH, iron etc.)? Does last
week's announcement blow the oxidative stress hypothesis right out of the water?
