Re: buspirone and PD?

Charlie Meyer , and others wondering re: Buspar:  I found it on the list of
"Contra-indicated drugs supplied by Ron Vetter. Perhaps he can supply info
re: his source.  Kathrynne Holden posted that "Buspar is among the drugs to
be used with caution in PD" and included a list of additive adverse
reactions for it and 5 other meds.  This indicated Buspar caused
dizziness,tremor,drowsiness,nausea,vomiting,headache,confusion,diaphoresis,blurr
ed vision.myalgia, nasal
congestion,nightmares,paresthesias,restlessness,tinnitus, and weakness!
Does sound like one to avoid--though the same  list gave about as many side
effects for fluoxitine(Prozac).  Hope Charlie will let us know what he
finds out.
