This is a talk given at the Cedars-Sinai APDA Information & Referral Center grand opening in 1999 by Dr. Michael Levesque, a neurosurgeon specializing in surgical procedures for people with movement disorders. Dr Levesque is doing research on harvesting and modifying a Parkinson's patient's stem cells which are trained in the laboratory to become neurons for re-implantation into the patient.
