This is a talk given at the Cedars-Sinai APDA Information & Referral Center grand opening in 1999 by Dr. Michael Levesque, a neurosurgeon specializing in surgical procedures for people with movement disorders. Dr Levesque is doing research on harvesting and modifying a Parkinson's patient's stem cells which are trained in the laboratory to become neurons for re-implantation into the patient. We wish to thank Linda Squire who is the coordinator for the Cedars-Sinai APDA Information & Referral Center for sharing this APDA copyrighted talk with us.

Parkinson's patients in the Los Angeles, California area may reach the Cedars-Sinai APDA Information & Referral Center at 1-877 223-3277
