My husband's first symptom was an inability to write.  His writing became
smaller and smaller.  This symptom was very distressing to him because, as 
a
scientist, he had to do a great deal of writing.  When he discussed the
symptom with his doctor, the doctor told him that it was a 'Parkinsonian
symptom' probably related to his blood pressure medication, Esidrex - a
medication that contained Serpasil, a (now) known causative agent of PD.  
He
was not taken off the drug.  Within 3 years, his symptoms had progressed to
the point where he was diagnosed with PD.  He was 40 years old.
