Ray,
I had the greatest exposure to the post D-Con bombing (7 weeks). Two of my
six children (with two day exposure) developed neurological movement
problems of a mild nature, but serious enough for one, my daughter, to have
a full neuro-workup. I too believe that there is a genetic factor that
makes one more susceptible to PD. David

David, I flea-bombed my condo for my dogs for years in the 60's. 70's and
80's and have often wondered if my chemo and genetic predisposition (my
grandfather had PD)are the culprits. I didn't get PD til I was 60 though.
Its too hot for fleas in AZ. I had lived near the beach in CA.
Ray

Before taking my family off to a summer in Maine, I used several "D-con"
bug
bombs on my house to rid my home of an infestation of small knats. I
returned twol weeks later by myself to work. It is from this summer that
I
date the slow onset of my PD.

Research to date has not ruled out chemical contamination/destruction
of brain cells as a causative factor in all kinds of syndromes.

By the way, is there any new news on pesticides possibly causing PD?
I wouldn't be surprised if O. O. has ingested some. And I had a heavy
exposure at one time. Also, what about Muhammad Ali's too many blows
to the head?

Enjoy Summer!
