I see a lot written about finding the cure for pd but in my opinion  we
should focus first on finding the cause(s).  There is a lot of first class
work being done by genetisists, mds and others but the short answer one gets
when you ask them "what causes pd" is "we don't know".   Perhaps someone in
this group will be the one to find the cause, I've always said anything is
possible.   I encourage you all to participate in research studies,
particularly those that might lead to finding the cause(s).  The cure(s) and
perhaps prevention might  then be easier to determine.
