Pam Dyskinesias (strange involuntary movements) are the result of Sinemet/related drugs. Tremor can be very difficult to treat. After my DBS brain surgeries to control bi-lateral tremors I tried Stalevo (Comtan and Levodopa) and my abs started twitching. i don't take any PD meds as they only helped once. HI, DEBBIE! MY FRIEND WITH PARKINSONS SAYS HIS TREMOR GOES OFF AND ON. HE ALSO SAYS HIS DOCTOR TOLD HIM THE TREMOR (IS IT TREMOR HE MEANS?) IS CAUSED BY THE BODY'S REACTION TO THE MEDICATION, NOT THE PD. SOMETIMES ONE HAND WILL MAKE VERY STRANGE, JUMPY, REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS, AND SOMETIMES NOT AT ALL. MORE LIKE JERKINESS THAN A TREMOR. MAYBE THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM THE TREMOR?
