Somehow, I find myself getting later and later with special occasion thoughts. I believe part of the reason is because I have political comments that the outer me wishes to express. However, the inner me is constantly interrupting with one headripping, shrill shushing sound! As a result, I must restrict myself only to comments on this holiday called CHRISTMAS.
How can I, without holding readers captive, discover some written word that might replace the ritual of frantic shopping sprees that often lead to personal and disastrous debt economy just for this one day of the year? What happened to the true meaning of this holiday, the SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS? When and how did we lose it? What do we have to do to bring it back? We surely must begin somewhere!
