I have been taking Requip for 5 years. Currently at 3 mgs 4 times per day.
Yes I do have a sleepy period about 20 to 30 minutes after taking it however
I have never had a problem with a "sleep attack" while driving or working as
many have. I guess I'm one of those that tolerate it well.

Requip can do that. I used Requip for a time but quit it due to "sleep
attacks". My drowiness would come on even in the middle of a sentence. I
went completely to sleep. After the last "sleep attack" coming home from
work and ending up in the ditch , my wife figured enough was enough. She
had
to come get me with the tractor to pull me out of the marsh grass and mud.
Luckily I was only two miles from home. You should be able to find out
more
about Requip "stories" on line. It wasnt a side effect we were willing to

I justed started taking Requip to supplement the levodopa. I experienced
a
lot of drowsiness that last for 1.5 hrs plus.  Wondering if this is
normal.
I had a similar expereience with levodopa but overcame that after a month
or 
so.
