Today Senator Brownback again used Dennis Turner, citing his 2004 Senate testimony and African safaris as ammunition for adult stem cell research. Mr. Turner: Don't you think you do the Parkinson's community a disservice by allowing this charade to continue? Scientists need to do hESCR to learn why your dopamine producing cells died in the first place. Your experience has demonstrated that cell replacement is not enough since your PD returned you told me by phone on 3-24-06. Brownback's presentation still gives a false impression to the uneducated by using you and Jackie Rabon as great hopes for the rest of us. By the way, how are you doing and what really happened with Levesque's Phase II? Why is truth not a moral value in this debate?
