Dear Editor: The Center for Arizona Policy today claimed credit for working behind the scenes to make Arizona one of the first states in the country to fund an adult stem cell-only public tissue bank. They falsely assert that embryonic stem cell research destroys unborn "children" and that there have been over 70 diseases cured using adult stem cells. They easily lie about stem cell research to kill the promise embryonic stem cell research holds for sick and suffering people. The CAP is an anti-science organization that will take Arizona back to the Dark Ages. I just don't understand why they are so cruel and deceitful.
