In a message dated 28/06/2007 07:08:03 GMT Standard Time, rayilynlee@xxxxxxx writes: Dear Editor: The Center for Arizona Policy opposes the sale of human eggs because they want to ban embryonic stem cell research in Arizona. In fact, they bragged yesterday that CAP had worked behind the scenes to make Arizona one of the first states in the country to fund an adult stem cell-only public tissue bank. They falsely assert that embryonic stem cell research destroys unborn "children" and that there have been over 70 diseases cured using adult stem cells. They easily lie about stem cell research to kill the promise embryonic stem cell research holds for sick and suffering people. If they truly oppose "egg harvesting" they would work to outlaw the IVF procedures that produce those excess embryos routinely destined for the trash. The CAP is an anti-science organization that will take Arizona back to the Dark Ages. I just don't understand why they are so cruel and deceitful, Rayilyn Brown Board Member AZNPF Arizona Chapter National Parkinson's Foundation rbrown@xxxxxxxxx 623-584-5869 Surprise AZ 85374-8938 rayilynlee@xxxxxxx ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn I'd agree with opposing the sale (donation another matter) of any human body parts, there's obvious dangers involved, which is why in Britain blood donors are not paid - just given hot sweet tea. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
