i remember while growing up in Brooklyn NY in the 1950's when every summer the "Mosquito Man" would come and spray our neighborhood. When someone spotted his truck, they'd yell out a warning and all the kids would run inside (for about 10 minutes) and then return to play in the DDT
Nowadays we have the modern version of the mosquito man -- the lawn spray services that spread herbicide all over the neighborhood for those seeking the "perfect," dandelion free suburban lawn. They are required by our county to put up warning signs on the lawns they are spraying 24 hours in advance. Doesn't do much good for people trying to avoid pesticides.
I'll take dandelions and mosquitos over Parkinson's any day.
When will they ever learn?
Linda

Oh my!
I grew up in New Jersey where we loved to ride our bikes in the smoke of burning leaves and especially... in the "smoke" of the mosquito truck. My mother was diagnosed in 1994, I got mine in 2004.
