I seem to recall it was about 3 weeks - but I thought vagueness would be more 
encouraging - it was about 12 years ago I cracked mine so could be wrong 
(slipped on wet stone by a swimming-pool).

I suppose it's tricky to put a plaster-cast on that part of the body :)
