PD less common smong among blacks and Asians

The data on which this assumption is based is not sufficiently detailed =
to arrive at definitive answers.

The first item that springs to mind is that due to the lower life =
expectancy of black races, then they do not live long enough to develop =
PD, given that it is mostly people over 60 eho contract it.

The next point is that of poorer people not being accurately diagnosed =
with PD, due to their under-representation at doctors' surgeries due to =
cost.

The above is by no means an exhaustive examination of the various =
factors governing the epidemiology of PD. But you can see that one can't =
take bare facts for granted when comparing racial groups as to the =
inicdence or prevalence of PD.
