Low prevalence figures for a particular population have to be viewed 
with some caution, since they may be skewed by a generally low 
atttendance at traditional doctors, due to cultural mores, or due to 
the low socio-economic status of poteneial diagnostees.

In other words, people of low income, living in poor conditions, are 
less likely to be diagnosed than those in more affluent circmstances.

additionally, people from the lower socio-economic strata are less 
likely to reach the age at which PD is more likely to strike.
