Dear Ellen and Chris

I've worn glassses since I was 10 yrs old; progressives for about 20 yrs very
successsfully, like a miracle, usually if you can't adjust they are not fit
correctly I had an optometrist who insisted I wear ill-fitting lenses 2 wks,
went over her head to opthamologist and he got them right. If I hadn't worn
them before successsfully, I would never have known.

However, I think PD puts something new into the equation as sometimes when I
tip my head to my shoulder I can see better. My eye doc said my eyes were
OK, which they are not. Had a hard time reading first 3 ltrs of 4th line on
eye test for drivers license here in AZ. Lights and print are definitely
double, except up real close or very far away (except stars and celestial
objects)

I think I read somewhere that progressives might not be a good thing for PWP
Ellen, since I guess you gave up on them, has it helped (except for the
dizziness of course)?

My best friend just died of osteocarcinoma, so I should complain; she was
always the healthy one and 2 yrs younger than me.

Ray
